GASSER CHAIR COMPANY PROMOTES MARK GASSER TO PRESIDENT

Effective January 1, 2010, Mark Gasser will assume the role of President of Gasser Chair Company.  This position was previously held by Gary Gasser, the company’s current President and CEO.  In his new role, Mark will be responsible for all day to day business operations and remain active in sales activities with an emphasis on new product development.  Gary Gasser will continue to serve as Gasser Chair’s CEO and Chairman of the Board, focusing on the company’s strategic planning and subsidiary operations.

Mark Gasser began his career at Gasser in 1973 working in all aspects of the business and since 1985 has served as the Company’s Executive Vice President.  He is a member of the Gasser Chair Company Board of Directors and serves on the Board of The Burdman Group, a local charitable organization, as well as the local Goodwill Industries organization.  Mark and his wife, Jennifer, have three daughters, Alison, Taylor and Marquette, live in Hubbard, Ohio, and are both very active in several school and local charity programs.
